AJ's parents moved to Canada when he was 5 years old, and he considers it a privilege to be able to call such an alluring country, home. "Every single thing I am today, I owe it, in some way or the other, to this beautiful country...", "Canada accepted me as I was, that was the charm of her. I never had to try, even for a second to "fit in" like I felt that I had to everywhere else, even the place where I was born.."

Having lived in cities ranging from Victoria, BC to Peterborough, ON, AJ got the opportunity to witness the cultural melting pot that was Canada; the gorgeous landscape and beauty during his travels were just the cherry on the top.

Exploring Cross-Canada was an experience that changed AJ's life. He was able to gain a deep appreciation for the pristine lakes, landscapes, mountains and the serenity of the far remote cities that Canada has to offer. Being stranded at the Winnipeg airport in a -35 degree windchill is a cherished memory of AJ's, and let him experience what being Canadian really meant in times of need.

Monica's Canadian connection is deeper than just by way of being AJ's partner. She has spent much time in British Columbia and has a deep appreciation for the culture and the sights that Canada has to offer. Monica embarks on her third trip to Canada this year.
